The programme
An atelier education.
The only programme of its kind in the world, taught inside a working atelier. You will last shoes, model leathers, engineer heels, and design bags, belts and jewellery — under the direct guidance of Professor Jimmy Choo OBE and the JCA master craftsmen.

What you'll study.
Year 1
Anatomy of the Shoe
Lasts, patterns, uppers, soles — the architecture of footwear.
Year 1
Leathercraft & Materials
Sourcing, cutting, skiving, hand finishing.
Year 2
Accessory Design
Bags, small leather goods, jewellery, hardware.
Year 2
Prototyping & Manufacture
From sketch to sample, working with Italian ateliers.
Year 3
Signature Collection
A capsule of footwear or accessories under mentorship.
Year 3
Business of Accessories
Licensing, private label, DTC, wholesale.
