An atelier education.
An intensive short course for designers and enthusiasts who want to learn the hand skills of couture. Small class sizes, one-to-one mentorship, and a finished piece by the final week.

The curriculum
What you'll study.
Weeks 1-2
Hand Sewing & Finishing
Stitches, seams, hems, invisible zips, French seams.
Weeks 3-4
Draping on the Stand
Working directly with cloth, bias, grain, volume.
Weeks 5-6
Embroidery & Beading
Tambour hook, hand beading, appliqué.
Weeks 7-8
Final Piece
Design, cut and finish a couture garment.
